History of ENagar

Filed under: History — Ankur Aggarwal @ 12:22 AM

Like the Nodstrom’s One Page Employee Handbook This blog believes in simplicity and brevity.
1. My posts are very short.
2. It values the readers time and hence is often composed in points and small paragraphs.
3. I never embed videos, audio or big pictures into the blog.
4. Instead of repeating, I extensively use links.

Hence I ask you one Question:
Do you think that the archives links in the rt hand bottom of my blog is useful?
Is there anything else in this blog which is annoying or frivolous and should be done away with?

====
BTW…. here are some totally useless information, facts and dates.

4th April 2005:
2 years ago, on this day I registered my first blog
Idea was simple…. Share all the forwards and jokes.

1 June 2005:
I teamed with ‘Chanakya’ in writing our first combined post on our second blog….
This blog was for intellectual debates. 2 antipodal persons will debate endlessly on serious topics… ridicule one another, and strengthen the thought process by questioning and finding flaws in logic and research. The process went flawlessly for 6 months… after which both realized it was too big a drain on our resources.

4th April 2006:
One of my closest college friend ‘Trespasser‘ joined us a an author and shared his jokes. He later on changed his name to silentthunder and contributed on stock markets, IPO and personal Finance.

20th June 2006:
I launched my 3rd Blog
This was actually an experimental blog. The only attractive feature about wordpress simplicity.
I loved the concept of categorizing posts. The feature of being able to maintain a blog without having to write an HTML code was revolutionary. But I was not sure if I should make this change….. because at that time wordpress offered only a few basic features.

16th July 2006:
Government Of India Blacklists my blogs. (along with a 1000s others)
This was the time when I made the permanent switch to this blog and imported all posts here.

rest is history.
