You are a pro in travelling then. :)

Yes, I know 3 months is a long time to be alone. Homesickness starts eating us up. I guess it's more for us Indians; we have attached ourselves to family system or bond.

Well, I haven't explored or done any bookings till now but will book air tickets soon. 2 countries are Malaysia & Thailand.

USA, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Mauritius, Malaysia and rest are from Europe.

And yes, Nepal too. :P

What are yours?

@nisha....
I have already travelled much of SE Asia one country at a time. Then for the past 4 months I have been traveling and trekking all around Western Europe (I will return this Tuesday) Then over 10 years I have traveled to almost every region of the country (except the islands and Pondicherry)
I am not going to USA/Canada because I am confident that some time in the future I will get a chance to visit there.

I intend to do a 3 month long summer trip and the cities mentioned above are hubs from where I will head to nearby places, return and head to the next destination. So basically on this globe throttling trip, I am trying to cover as vast a region as possible.
Its fun to travel alone and you meet a lot of interesting people on the way. However sooner or later one realizes that 3 months is too long a time and planning etc saps ones energy away.

Which 2 countries are you planning to backpack in? and what 15 countries you have already been to?

Any reason why these particular cities and why not others?
And you are right.. if not now then it'll get postponed to a much later date.

What's your idea of travelling?
I have been to 15 countries and except for Melbourne have not touched any of the above. All of them are in my list too. :)

Right now, contemplating of a month long solo backpacking trip to 2 countries early next year. Solo b'coz I couldn't get any partner. :-)
Maybe this comment will inspire you to go alone. Keep updating us.
